THE PARANOCTA LAMP POST AND THE BULBEE LED BULB CAN BE CONTROLLED WITH OR WITHOUT A SMARTPHONE.

HOW TO TURN ON YOUR LUMINAIRE?

Before first use, you will need to charge the BULBEE wireless LED bulb for 6 hours using the micro USB cable and charger provided. The indicator light of the BULBEE lamp will indicate the evolution of its charge (see instructions).

The on/off button will allow you to switch BULBEE lamp on manually, a few presses will allow you to select the intensity that suits you.

If you wish to remotely control your luminaire, all you need to do is download the Bulbee Lamp app to your smartphone.

Once you have made sure that BULBEE lamp is charged, follow the instructions displayed on your smartphone to activate the Bluetooth function and synchronise both.

You can rename each BULBEE lamp (recommended if you connect more than one).

You can now remotely control your light from your smartphone whether to switch it on or off, vary its light intensity or control the level of autonomy.

Thanks to Bulbee Lamp, you will also be able to create groups, control several lamps simultaneously and secure their access by locking them with a PIN code.

 IS MY SMARTPHONE COMPATIBLE?

BULBEE lamp uses the latest Bluetooth SMART (or Bluetooth Low Energy) wireless communication technology; its main feature is that it can communicate while consuming very little energy.

The version currently available on the bulbee lamp app blinds is :

For Android: 6.0 or later version
For iOS: 10.0 or later

The app “Bulbee Lamp“ is free to download from Play Store and AppStore.

CAN I CONNECT SEVERAL LIGHTS TO MY SMARTPHONE?

In the same way that you connected and renamed your first BULBEE lamp, you will proceed as many times as necessary to connect the next ones …

This way, you can control the light intensity of your luminaires and create your moods.

In short, here are all the connected functions that BULBEE lamp offers you:

ON/OFF
– Dimmer switch
– Battery level indicator
– Creation of groups and simultaneous control of several luminaires at the same time
– BOOST function
– PIN code security
– Location by light call
– Customization

By pressing the ON/OFF button on the BULBEE lamp three times, it is possible to access different light intensities. On switching on :
> 1st press: medium intensity mode 250lm (13h),
> 2nd pressure: high intensity mode 500lm for 60 min then back to 400lm (8h)
> 3rd press: low intensity mode 100 lm (32h)

With the application, like a dimmer, you can gradually adjust the light intensity from 0 and 100% (400 lm) according to the desired ambiance. The “Boost” button allows you to take advantage of lighting at 500 lm.

WHAT IS THE COLOUR OF THE LIGHTING?

The BULBEE wireless LED bulb offers a warm light of 3000K (“warm white”).

The material of the lantern, High Density Polyethylene, is neutral in order to diffuse this warmth of light as faithfully as possible.

WHAT IS THE LIFE SPAN OF THE LED OF THE LAMP?

BULBEE uses CREE LED technology: high performance, it has an extremely long life of 50,000 hours (in practice, a LED light in use for 11 hours a day for 250 days a year lasts about 18 years!).

Another advantage: it consumes very little energy.

HOW LONG DO BULBEE BATTERIES LAST?

BULBEE batteries contain Lithium Ion which is known for its longevity and flexibility.
They have a service life of 500 to 800 load cycles.

In concrete terms, if your light accompanies you 50 evenings a year at full power and for 8 hours, you can count on it for at least 10 years (i.e. 500 charge cycles).

Ideally, the battery will last even longer if you recharge BULBEE as often as possible.

After 24 hours without any interaction with BULBEE, the battery goes into sleep mode and goes into maximum energy saving mode; thus, when not in use, the battery does not discharge.

If you do not plan to use it for several weeks, it is recommended that you charge BULBEE to 100% before storing it.

HOW LONG ARE OUR LUMINAIRES GUARANTEED FOR?

Our lights are guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase (legal guarantee).

The guarantee does not cover wear, scratches, or damage caused by misuse or failure to follow instructions (see instructions provided – on request: support@paranocta.com).

CAN I LEAVE MY LIGHT OUTSIDE WHEN I’M NOT USING IT?

Thanks to the quality of its materials, our light fittings are designed for outdoor use (matt aluminium matt with high UV resistance powder coating, lantern in high density polyethylene).

IP65, BULBEE is waterproof and resistant to rain and salt air.

However, we recommend that the lighting unit be retracted in the event of heavy rain and more generally after each use.

We invite users not to leave BULBEE in full sunlight with the electronics it contains.

Lantern and matt can be left outside all season long.

HOW MUCH DOES THE PARANOCTA LAMP POST WEIGH?

Paranocta is light: 1,500 kg, 2 kg with its carrying bag.

WHAT IS ITS SIZE?

When deployed with its pole, it measures 1.85 m at its top.

The mast is made up of 3 tubes of about 50 cm: when stored, the floor lamp measures a maximum of 55 cm long.

HOW SHOULD THE LANTERN BE MAINTAINED?

The lantern is made of High Density Polyethylene: it is very resistant to U.V. rains and UV rays. To maintain it, use soapy water.

AND THE ENVIRONMENT?

The LED is mercury-free and is treated as electrical waste.

The High Density Polyethylene lantern is recyclable.

We contribute to 2 eco-organisations: one with Recylum (electronic card and LED), the other with Screlec (Lithium-Ion battery).
